The East Bay Bike Party is a monthly mobile party for riders of all ages, experience levels, and bike types, to meet, ride, and play together in the streets on the second Friday of the month with upwards of 400 riders usually meeting near an East Bay BART station at 7:30 pm. Every month is a different costume theme, so dress your best and bring some music too.
Riding a bike as a kid wasn't just fun-it was independence. That feeling is one of the biggest reasons cycling became such an important part of my life. It gave me confidence. It gave me joy. And it taught me how to move through the world on my own terms. But I look around today, and I don't see nearly as many kids on bikes.
San Francisco Bike Party (not to be confused with Critical Mass) is a monthly celebration of biking for riders of different ages, types, and skill levels to enjoy.
